While finishing the Prologue track for “Ward One”, it occurred to me that the only good use of compression on a Piano, regarding overly synthesized Claviers, is over compression (some epiphany, I know), but, the mistakes of trying to set the compressor to behave right are pleasant (and a bit video-gamey), but not corny. Muted Trumpets, Moog, and over-driven Organ are just some highlights from this soundtrack styled piece.
