Sekrett Scilensce has completed two new soundtracks for the Devil’z Hide series installments “The Disdain” and “Rising” – Arriving off the heels of additional production being performed with Mary Margaret Park (author of Devil’z Hide), Sekrett Scilensce hopes to step-forward in introducing new elements to the industrial cadences heard in John Riley’s story. “The earlier recordings were a collage of melodic mellow pieces that were interspersed with electronically charged industrial movements, comparable to Japan horror sequences or German noir with aesthetic driven scenes. Now I felt it was time to approach more of the orchestral blend so that the night and day comparison could become more apparent.” A sample has been made available, showcasing a more symphonic styling to the moods experienced in the Devil’z Hide universe. Sekrett Scilensce has made it clear that all the elements from the first round of recordings are still present in the tracks currently being produced. Just recently having completed some OST recordings for the expanded [Devil’z Hide] (DH) universe, we’ve been passed along a prototype-printing of the serial entries for this production. They’re outstanding, but not much more can be said other than what the photo depicts (see below) for now. In another month, the North-American release-schedule is supposed to be completed for the first shorts, and then at some point, the early test-marketed works are to be thrown-in with the full batch of produced literature and audio releases. Much of today’s entertainment landscape consists of individuals and groups declaring expertise upon those that are new to the gamut. You’ll have arguments and debates over lore of yore, authentic versus unauthentic, and of course, flame wars over antics and gimmicks which do more harm than good from the ‘lover’s of music’ perspective. Entertainers need not pick a side or engage any sentiments; the journey is more valuable than the end result a lot of times.   Almost every overnight success story takes ten to twenty years, and even then, it is only the first step in the eyes of the public. This usually means the public’s (as a whole) demand for what you deliver. That’s why it is important to be not only great at what you do, but as well, to be greater with each step taken; from all the various stages in your journey. Some start bad then become good, some start great then become bad, and some start good and go bad and then become great. A triangle perhaps…?   Where are you right now? We’ve been very busy, and through all of this, we’re excited to say that we have many new writings, songs, and combined-developments that will go live shortly. With [Devil’z Hide] (DH), “Shadow Cure”, and [The Road Avenger] all being in different stages of development, alongside many new music-titles being finalized, we haven’t been able to keep anyone as updated as we’d like. To everyone who has taken time to write-in regarding “The Road Avenger”, thank-you for all of your support and excitement (firstly). The project has been moving forward and will approach another public-demo (reading) release very soon. It is hard to balance the marketing of such a project into the methods of instantly-gratifying tidbits without destroying the heart and foundation of what is trying to be accomplished. For your patience, we can only say that all waiting is well worth it. Some of you had heard that “Devil’z Hide” would have three new installments coming and this is all true. One of the setbacks that is now resolved is where the new titles were going to be distributed. We’d wanted to make it available to as many digital-networks as possible, but after a round of questions to readers and licensors, we came to the conclusion that many wanted to be able to access the titles directly from us. We are now set-up to do this more diligently. It will still take time to make things smoother (from an access point of view). No new information has been made regarding any extended follow-ups to “IN5” (as is typical with Sekrett Scilensce recordings) but many mentions of possible promotions to new listeners are slated to commence. It has been reported that “The Road Avenger” (public-demo I) is now in its final packaging stages and will include a bonus set of materials that is expected to add to the excitement of those following the novelization and its related projects. “The Road Avenger” is a novelization of the 1985 Data East laserdisc classic, “Road Blaster”.
