March’09 Feature: “Entertainment’s Death Is Near” (plus a behind the feature look)…
The empire known as entertainment is broken, yet one man vows to deliver what draws audiences to rocking and rolling without missing a beat. Through the eyes of a recording and performing artist whose been exiled to the lands of uncertainty, this portrayal reminds everyone of what happens when we all forget the magic behind the music. The question – Is entertainment’s death near? A look behind the feature… “They’re all wondering if entertainment’s death is near – The labels, the musicians, the publishers, the distributors, the critics; the how-to jockey’s…even the president from what I’ve heard. There is an ultimate decision to ponder ‘who the *censored* cares?’ and then, there is a decision to try and solve ‘the problem’ according to many of the self appointed experts.” “F that…” “Where is all the ‘good’ music about this and more importantly, where is all the ‘great’ music about this? I don’t know and I don’t care because I’ve got a few numbers for anyone who wants to bang their heads so hard that they’ll end up with whiplash.” “I find the debates, arguments, threads, blogs, and rants to be silly and mostly immature. Frankly, I just don’t care. Not because I’m insensitive or trying to ignore facts, I’d rather write music about it, connecting with the world through what I do best.” “I figure that if you take a Billy Corgan like position, you might as well pull the trigger and be done with it.” Sekrett Scilensce’s: “Entertainment’s Death Is Near” (an Electro/Metal crossover experience) Highly recommended if you like music by ‘The Scorpions’, ‘Def Leppard’, or ‘Sammy Hagar’ ***** <Go download this Feature Now> Read more [...]

Times of the Century (Dreams of Less)
There will always be a monumental drift for artistic individuals in this world, and I believe that for what we have seen in entertainment lately, we have this charity like sports team, where many play the game, some better than others, but ultimately, for those on the field; not many of them play professionally or for any other reason other than the thrill of the game. Akin to prophetic prose, poetry, or the short narrative; these are items shared amongst the apt and enjoyed by the inspired; aspiration arriving lastly. Make a $5 Contribution?

My Industry & the Music-Expert Calamity…
There’s a war on for your mind; and it’s not a conspiracy-theory or information-technology ‘moniker’ either. Entertainment is strictly that; and by all means, not truly a grand speaking platform unless, that is what you’ve attempted to contribute all along – the true cynics haven’t made an effort to say the truth – and that truth will probably die when the next ‘forward-motion’ project arrives. How-to Jockey’s, Social-Networking experts; Music, Film, and Authorship experts…..? When did this stop being about helping others have a good time with great songs and better entertainment? Companies are now built on all sorts of premises involving ‘better-marketing’, learning tricks, finding the ‘niche’ and ‘target-audience’. F*ck that. When everyone knows every curve, angle, and buzz-word…then who will be blamed for mediocrity or unheard greatness? I can’t think of a single fan of my music that doesn’t make their own choice; so what makes others think that they are performing the best filtering ever known to man? I guess one of three things: God Government Or self * But nothing more I’m almost certain. I can’t stand to muster, debate, or coagulate on ‘points of sale’, ‘points of assertion’. There are a lot of Suze Orman’s but not enough Led Zeppelin’s. Anyway, let me know what you’re thinking. (The rest of you can orgasm over whose more ‘guerilla’ — anywhere that isn’t near me) * Respectfully & Sincerely, – Ss leitung@sekrettscilensce.de http://www.sekrettscilensce.com Make a $5 Contribution?
